Are you ready for our annual district NYI and Young Adult Winter Retreat weekend? It’s a great time to meet others in the district, worship together, find some space, getaway to the mountains, share some good times, and grow deeper in your relationship with Christ.
The Winter Retreat will take place at Trinity Pines from January 24 – 26, 2025. Rich Vasquez will direct the teen retreat, and Kenny Wade will direct the young adult retreat, which will run concurrently on the same weekend. The teens and young adults will be separated for housing, worship services, etc., only joining each other for meals.
For both age groups the cost is $120 and registrations are due online by January 08, 2025, 9 pm MTN Time for all teens, young adults, and sponsors.
Theme for both age groups: The Good Life, Matthew 5:1-12. Each verse from the Beatitudes begins with “Blessed are….” Jesus wants to teach us how to live the good life. During the weekend, we will explore the theme of being “blessed” and living “the good life” from various Christ-centered perspectives, no matter what life brings. In each session, we will explore the passage from different angles and experiences.
